04/29/2021 G. Zhantokhova held lectures with 1st year college students. Objective: To teach students to learn from history, pay tribute to the past, explain the importance of the Day of Remembrance for Victims of Political Repression, as well as the days of tragedy and grief in each country. Report on the transformation of Kazakhstan into a country of camps, punishment and suffering of innocent people. Intellectuals of the Kazakh people, who became victims of left-wing politics during the tragic period, reported that in 1937-1938 more than 100 thousand people were persecuted in the country; foster respect for the names of Turar Ryskulov, Saken Seifullin, Magzhan Zhumabaev, Alikhan Bukeikhanov, Akhmet Baitursynov, Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpaev, Ilyas Zhansugurov, Abdulla Rozybakiev, Sanzhar Asfendiyarov.
